This site contains affiliate links to VPN providers including (but not limited to) NordVPN, ExpressVPN, Surfshark, Proton VPN, Mullvad, IPVanish, PIA, and CyberGhost. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we receive a commission from the vendor at no additional cost to you.
How to identify affiliate links
We use the standard rel="sponsored" attribute on affiliate links. This is the convention search engines and browsers use to identify commercial partnerships.
Your purchase price is unchanged
Affiliate commissions are paid by the VPN provider, not by you. Clicking our affiliate link versus going directly to the provider has no effect on the price you pay.
Editorial independence
We do not let affiliate relationships influence our rankings. A VPN paying us 10% commission can — and frequently does — outrank a VPN paying 60%. Our rankings are based on test data, audit history, and feature comparison.
If we recommend a VPN with no affiliate program (rare in this space), the link still goes to the vendor's direct URL.

We include Mullvad even though they don't pay us a commission. Privacy reviews would be incomplete without them.
